Safety Features of the 2022 Lexus LS  

To begin with, the 2022 LS receives the new Lexus Safety System+ 2.5, which includes several hardware and software enhancements. An improved lens camera and millimeter-wave radar elements improve response and detecting range. The Pre-Collision System (PCS) is now far more effective than previously. Frontal Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Pedestrian Detection, and Bicyclist Detection are all included in the PCS unit. Meanwhile, the premium Mark Levinson Audio System is now a standard feature instead of being a check box on the options list.  

Advanced Driving  

Advanced Drive, according to Lexus, is designed to accurately detect driving conditions so that acceleration, braking, and steering commands can be planned and executed to keep the vehicle in its lane, follow other cars, change lanes, navigate certain interchanges, and traffic jams, and overtake slower vehicles. It has SAE Level 2 capability. The technology, according to Lexus, lowers driver tiredness during lengthy periods of driving and allows the driver to pay more attention to the surroundings, resulting in increased safety.
